Village Roadshow construira un parc Twentieth Century Fox en Corée

Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products et le groupe australien Village Roadshow ont annoncé aujourd'hui la création d'un parc à thème en Corée du Sud. Un accord a été signé en ce sens entre les deux compagnies. Ce parc consacré aux films et personnages de Twentieth Century Fox sera construit à Changwon.

Le parc d'attractions aura une superficie de 30 hectares et il fera partie d'un projet de développement plus vaste totalisant plus de 283 hectares, connu sous le nom de Ungdong Entertainment Complex. Il n'y a pas encore de date d'ouverture.

Village Roadshow possède plusieurs parcs, principalement en Australie, dont Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World et Wet'n'Wild. Le groupe avait précédemment annoncé son intention de faire son arrivée en Asie. Le parc coréen sera leur première implantation sur ce continent.

Un autre parc ayant pour thème Twentieth Century Fox avait déjà été annoncé il y a un an: Twentieth Century Fox World. Celui-ci est financé par d'autres investisseurs. Sa construction est en cours et il ouvrira en 2016 en Malaisie.
